We are officially back on board for 2025 following a restful summer, and are excited to get back into the swing of things.

While we may have appeared absent over the past two months, we've had a few things ticking away in the background. In this time, we…

Harvested broad beans grown last year in April, then distributed these amongst community food pantries across the city. Special thanks to the volunteers from Good Mahi day who weeded these crops in June, and to Taylor and his rangatahi who picked these in December.
Harvested garlic planted at the Good Mahi day, then donated this to Pātaka Ora at Araiteuru Marae.
Confirmed our status as an official charity.
Harvested potatoes planted by rangatahi in the Tū Tika program at Skillsec, who are now using these in their shared lunches.

We are so excited for the year ahead and can't wait to work alongside all of you to get more of Ōtepoti growing their own food.
