We depend on the generosity of people like you to achieve our mission.

Tool donations

We accept most* garden tools and resources that are ready to use or can be easily repaired for use.

We are especially happy to receive the following:

• gardening gloves (clean)

• trowels

• forks (long and short handled)

• spades (long and short handled)

• watering cans

• hoses and hose attachments

• buckets

• weed cloth/windbreak cloth

• trellis/stakes

* We can’t take battery or power tools.

Collection options:

• You can drop tools at the donation bin in Nichols Garden Centre (51 Timaru Street, South Dunedin) between 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Sunday.

• Tools can be dropped off by arrangement to our HQ at 14 Bridgman St, Kensington, Dunedin (see map to the right). The drop off point is our tunnelhouse. Please email carla@givetogrow.nz or phone 022 499 0568 to arrange drop off.

• If you’d like your tool donations picked up, please email kiaora@givetogrow.nz.
